Hosted at the Tagore Center, 140 Millwick Drive, Toronto, this thrilling tournament kicks off with practice sessions starting June 2025, followed by the main tournament beginning in July 2025. The excitement will build up to an epic Grand Finale at the end of Summer 2025—stay tuned for exact dates!

Competition Structure

Categories:

  • Singles: Individual players
  • Doubles: Teams of two (can be mixed gender and No Age Restriction)

Rounds you may Expect:

  • Round 1: Preliminary 1st Level Round Robin with Groups
  • Round 2: 2nd Level Round Robin with Groups
  • Round 3: Quarter Final (Top 8 from Round Robin)
  • Round 4: Semi-finals (Top 4 from Round Robin)
  • Round 5: Finals (Winners of Semi-Finals Face Off) with 3rd Place Determination

Match Format

  • Best of 3 Games in Preliminaries(Round 1 and Round 2) with 21 Points(Winner with Gap of 2 Points)
  • Best of 5 Games in Quarter-Finals, Semi-finals and Finals with 21 Points(Winner with Gap of 2 Points)
  • Standard ITTF Rules Apply (Though 21-Point Games, Switch Sides in Every Game)

Housekeeping & Conduct Rules

  • Punctuality: Late arrivals may be disqualified after 10 minutes grace time
  • Dress Code: Non-marking shoes and sports attire required
  • Equipment: Players may bring personal paddles
  • Fair Play: No coaching during matches; all disputes settled by match referee
  • Cleanliness: Players must clean up their area after each match
  • Respect: Unsportsmanlike behavior will result in warnings or disqualification

Additional Notes

  • Refreshments and snacks available for purchase
  • Club volunteers will assist with scoring and management
  • Spectators welcome – entry is free for non-players
  • Photos may be taken for future club promotions

TT Tournament Practice Days in June 2025: 22, 29 June  & 12, 13th July, and  Subject to a Minimum of 5 Participants’ Confirmation for that Day to Subrata’s Cell Number (+1.647.620.7610) (By Text Only) for TT, subject to 2 Days in Advance.

Tentative Opening-Closing Time for Practice: Saturday from 2 PM to 5 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 2 PM. All Practice and Tournament Days would be on Weekends.

July -> 19, 20, 26, 27 (Upward of Semi-Final and Final Matches).

Opening and Closing Hours for Weekends: 10 AM to 5 PM, both Saturdays and Sundays.
